Marco Ferrarese interviewed by Sharpened Word in Ipoh

On the last 18th June, the entity known as Marco Ferrarese participated to Ipoh’s Sharpened Word Literary matinee.

Before that, I was graciously interviewed on Banana Punk Rawk Trails and my opinions on metal punk music today.

The footage was assembled by CP Lo, who has also served as ‘rational inquirer’ and edited a segment of me thrashing on my guitar  at the end of this video. Check it out.

And if you have enough time (about 45 minutes) to go through the whole interviews, you can know more about Malaysia, its literature, and more of my musings by having a look here.

The launch at 216 Beach Street last November 28th was a succcess!!

Thanks to Gerak Budaya, Penang Institute and George Town Literary Festival for letting us bring some punk rawk into their programme!

Speedwitches, the Garrison, ANGKARA and Coma rocked it out pretty hard… see this short clip from ANGKARA‘s performance to get an idea.
